Deel

Global payroll, contractor payments and employment of record where you have no local entity.

What it does

Deel employs people on your behalf in countries where you have no legal entity, pays contractors across borders, and runs payroll in countries where you do have one.

Why it matters next to an AI-native ERP

No AI-native ERP runs payroll in any country, so payroll is always an integration rather than a module. Deel matters particularly for the work we do across Latin America, where opening a legal entity in order to hire two people is rarely the right answer.

What the ledger needs from Deel is a correctly mapped journal, per entity and per country, including the statutory benefits that accrue every month but are paid at other points in the year.

How we implement it

We map pay elements to accounts by entity and by country, decide whether the journal arrives summarised or in detail, and set up the accruals for local statutory benefits. In several Latin American countries those accruals are material, and they are the item most often missed when a foreign payroll provider is connected without local review.

We implement this alongside Campfire, Rillet and DualEntry. If you are working out how it should connect to your ledger, that is the conversation we have every week.
